A delicious pasta entrée from Leo's pairs well with a Syrah or Chianti.
If you are looking for a great opportunity to taste a grouping of wines, then you have to check out the "Wine Flight" at Leo's Restaurant and Pizzeria.

Leo's is located in the Stadium Plaza on Rt. 9D, across from Dutchess Stadium.

The Wine Flight combines a Bridlewood Chardonnay, a Bridlewood Syrah and a DaVinci Chianti - all for $15.

Manager Frankie Maniscalchi notes that patrons can split the Flight any way they please and the Wine Flight can be paired with meals. Even though it is set with the Chardonnay, Syrah and Chianti, Frankie says he will also mix other wines - catering to the taste of patrons.

The Bridlewood Chardonnay is crisp and aromatic, displaying scents and flavors of nectarine, Mandarin oranges and fresh apples. The Bridlewood Syrah is rich in flavors of blackberry, dark cherry and spice with a hint of mocha. The DaVinci Chianti is distinctly fruity with cherry overtones and balanced with hints of vanilla and cinnamon.

Your professional servers at Leo's will also assist in entrée suggestions that will go well with the different wines in the Wine Flight.

Looking at Leo's current weekly specials, Frankie notes that the Chardonnay would pair well with the Potato Crusted Halibut. It is topped with a Prosecco sauce and served with Belgian carrots.

The Syrah would pair well with a Veal Chop. It is served wth sauteed baby leaf spinach,, wild mushroom demi and Belgian Carrots.

The Chianti would pair well with the Steak and Lobster. This entrée features a USDA flat iron steak, served to your liking, a 5 oz. Brazilian Lobster Tail, baked potato and Belgian carrots.

Leo's also features a wide selections of wines, such as Montelpuciano, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Reisling, Pinot Grigio and more.
