WAPPINGERS SCHOOL DISTRICT--Kindergarten registration in the Wappingers Central School District will be held during from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, February 23, Tuesday, February 24, and Wednesday, February 25.

There will be one evening registration from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25. This registration opportunity is open to all parents unable to register their kindergarten children during the daytime hours, but it will be held only at Myers Corners Elementary School.

Kindergarten parents may register at the Wappingers elementary school that their child will be attending, which would be their home school.

The district recommends that parents or guardians call the school and request that a registration packet be mailed to them. They can also call to determine which school their child will attend in the fall.

Children who will have attained the age of five on or before December 1, 2009, are eligible for September 2009 entrance into kindergarten.
